Rosie and Ali's wedding was one I had been looking forward to for ages. Three fabulous locations all in one wedding - the beautiful remoteness of Baldersdale for bridal prep followed by the ceremony in the lovely village of Romaldkirk, and finally on to Headlam Hall for the reception.
The conditions were ideal for a wedding in July - not too warm, slightly overcast and so calm there was barely a ripple on the reservoir next to Rosie's parents' home.
There was also barely a ripple in the house where everything was remarkably relaxed. Rosie was ready to go with time to spare and looking stunning in her Justin Alexander wedding dress.
After the ceremony and an insanely long confetti line it was off to Headlam Hall (by VW Beetle in Rosie and Ali's case!) where we took a walk through Headlam's wonderful grounds for some photos of the happy couple. Following the meal we had a bouquet toss which caused a mad scramble before a winner emerged victorious, and the evening was rounded off with a good old knees up (and a few squished toes!)
Rosie and Ali - thank you for letting me share your special day with you and all the best for your future together.
