Caroline & Andy | Beamish Hall | Wedding

Caroline and Andy's big day at Beamish Hall was a blowy one to say the least - Hurricane Bertha had just swept through, but fortunately had taken the clouds with her and it was a lovely, bright sunny day. This was to be part one of a two-stage wedding, with evening celebrations planned for York a couple of weeks later.

Caroline looked stunning in her Justin Alexander dress, and it seemed Stuart, the registrar was quite impressed too! The look on mum's face was priceless too when Caroline made her entrance.

Being a northern lass, a bit of wind wasn't enough to put Caroline off and we managed to get outside to get some nice shots by Beamish Hall's famous old tree, although the confetti didn't hang around for long in the breeze!

After some funny and emotional speeches it was time for me to go, but not before capturing the children trying to catch bubbles in the wind - no easy task in these conditions but it was certainly funny watching them try.

Huge congratulations Caroline and Andy - and hope you enjoyed your evening celebrations in York!
