Woodhill Hall weddings are worth doing just for the drive up there - it's like a rollercoaster through some of the most beautiful countryside the North East has to offer, not to mention the fact it is a stunning, quirky venue with something for everyone.
It was a wedding I had been looking forward to shooting for some time, and although I had to drive through some wild weather to get there, it was a pleasant surprise to find the sun shining when I got there.
When I arrived Tina and maid-of-honour Sharon were in the Darcy Suite having their make-up skillfully applied by the fabulous Kitty Kerry. The Darcy Suite is one of the many beautifully decorated rooms at Woodhill Hall, with the famous script wallpaper and rustic wooden beams.
The ceremony was to be held in The Orangery, a lovely bright room with fantastic views across the fields and woodlands. Loads of natural light - perfect for a wedding photographer!
After the ceremony it was time for Tina, Richard and I to go on a little explore of the wonderful grounds, including of course a visit Woodhill Hall's famous "Love Shack"!
Tina and Richard - congratulations to you both!
